Research: Future of Renewable Energy Spending

Some sources predict that renewable energy spending (for wind, solar, hydrogen, geothermal) will exceed that for non-renewables as soon as 2021.

This is incredibly welcome news, and likely has to do with the decrease in transportation around the world due to COVID-19. Global emergencies and climate catastrophes will only become more frequent as the planet warms up, therefore it’s past time to be making hefty investments in renewables.
